William A. Johnson Company

William Johnson began his x-ray career at Stanford Linear Accelerator working as a design engineer, then carried that knowledge on to the Schonberg Radiation Corp (SRC). That was 50 years ago and some of the x-ray equipment he built still exists today. After leaving SRC, he, with another partner founded High Energy Services Corp” specializing in field x-ray services and manufacturing custom x-ray equipment for very unique applications. Now, somewhat retired, Mr. Johnson is a consultant and assists U. S. Photon with the technical aspects of producing and controlling x-rays.

Cathy Condron, PHD

Cathie holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from the University of California at Davis. After graduate school she spent several years at the Stanford Synchrotron Light Source as a postdoctoral associate learning the ins and outs of a beam line scientist. She then entered the industrial realm where she managed and participated in both IR&D and federally funded projects in the areas of active interrogation and trace detection technologies. She currently works as a Program Manager for a DoD branch of the Federal Government and is the founder of Phase Relations LLC., a consultancy business in the area of X-ray Diffraction and Security Technologies. We rely on her for calculating all shielding requirements for systems that we produce and place into service.

For more than 40 years, EM Design, LLC has specialized in the design and fabrication of high power RF and microwave components for the medical, aerospace, defense, and industrial communities.   With more than twenty patents, the company is focused on developing products that address an organization’s technical challenges.  An array of products, at various frequencies – distributed 4-port and 3-port circulators & isolators, waveguide loads, gasket seals, couplers and more — can be found on their website at www.em-design.com.

David Jensen, Mechanical and CAD support

David Jensen has 24 years of experience designing, documenting and building specialized equipment for high tech companies involved in semi-conductor, medical, MEMS (DLP devices), x-ray, and many other technologies. He is also an accomplished Computer Aided Design (CAD) instructor, highly competent in both 2D and 3DCAD applications and is an instructor at both the college and corporate level.
